These pretzels are making me thirsty! The most fragrant pretzels you can make...you will never be able to go back to bought ones, sorry about that. Well worth the effort! Sprinkle with toppings of choice be it sea salt, parmesan or cinnamon sugar!

Step preview

  1. Fit the TM5 bowl to TM5
  2. Add dried yeast
  3. Add cold milk
  4. Add olive oil
  5. Add sugar
  6. Blend for approx 3s
  7. Heat for approx 2min
  8. Add sugar
  9. Add bread flour
  10. Add sea salt
  11. Mix for approx 10s
  12. Knead for approx 3min
  13. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  14. Grease with olive oil
  15. Transfer content of TM5 bowl to large mixing bowl
  16. Cover with kitchen towel
  17. Let rise until doubled
  18. Pre-heat
  19. Get a clean medium bowl
  20. Add hot water
  21. Add baking soda
  22. Mix until dissolved
  23. Let cool
  24. Flour a work surface
  25. Transfer dough to work surface
  26. Divide evenly
  27. Roll
  28. Form
  29. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper
  30. Dip
  31. Cook for 8min until golden brown
  32. Remove and let cool
  33. Brush with melted butter
  34. Sprinkle with sea salt
