    Method

  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 150°C / 350°F
  • 2. Prepare 2 clean baking sheets with parchment paper
  • 3. Add egg white and salt to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 4. Mix thoroughly until stiff and glossy and continue mixing
  • 5. Add granulated sugar to the batter gradually and continue mixing
  • 6. Mix thoroughly until stiff then set aside
  • 7. Add cornstarch, water, white vinegar and vanilla extract to a clean small bowl
  • 8. Mix thoroughly with teaspoon until completely mixed and transfer mixture to batter
  • 9. Fold batter gently until mixture comes together
  • 10. Transfer batter the piping bag and create small meringues on the baking sheet
  • 11. Bake until light golden - 40 min, 150°C / 300°F
  • 12. Let cool completely - approx 30 min
  • 13. To store transfer meringues to plastic container
