Delicious Portuguese dish my Mother taught me long time ago! It makes a great meal if you serve them with tomato rice. Or, if you want, serve them as a starter just like that. Either way, everyone will love them!

Step preview

  1. Add white flour, baking soda and milk to a clean large mixing bowl
  2. Mix into a fine paste until thickened
  3. Add egg, cod fillet, fresh parsley and salt to the large mixing bowl
  4. Mix generously until mixture comes together then set aside
  5. Prepare a clean frying pan
  6. Add olive oil to the frying pan
  7. Fry one by one until lightly browned then set aside - medium heat
  8. Serve
