Delicious Portuguese dish my Mother taught me long time ago! It makes a great meal if you serve them with tomato rice. Or, if you want, serve them as a starter just like that. Either way, everyone will love them!

  1. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  2. Add white flour
  3. Add baking soda
  4. Add milk
  5. Mix into a fine paste until thickened
  6. Add egg
  7. Add soaked, shredded cod fillet
  8. Add chopped fresh parsley
  9. Add salt
  10. Mix generously until mixture comes together then set aside
  11. Prepare a clean frying pan
  12. Add olive oil
  13. Fry one by one until lightly browned then set aside - medium heat
  14. Serve
