At Christmas time, for example, you’ll see a bowl of peeled garlic put under the table to offer everyone strength and protection. Step preview

  1. Add butter and garlic to a clean large saucepan
  2. Sauté until fragrant - approx 1 min
  3. Add onion, caraway seeds, sea salt and black pepper to a clean small bowl
  4. Transfer onion mixture to large saucepan
  5. Sauté until softened - approx 1 min
  6. Replace on drop
  7. Add vegetable stock to the large saucepan
  8. Heat until boiling
  9. Add potato to a clean medium bowl
  10. Transfer potatoes to large saucepan
  11. Simmer until tender and continue - 15 min
  12. Pre-heat - 175°C
  13. Add rustic french bread, olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano, black pepper and sea salt to a clean large mixing bowl
  14. Toss until coated
  15. Transfer content of large mixing bowl to baking sheet
  16. Bake until golden brown - 10 min, 175°C
  17. Serve
  18. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese
  19. Garnish with fresh parsley
