  1. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper then set aside
  2. Pre-heat - 190°C
  3. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  4. Add all purpose flour
  5. Add baking powder
  6. Add salt
  7. Add sugar
  8. Add cold unsalted butter
  9. Mix until coarse crumbs form - low speed
  10. Add buttermilk
  11. Add sour cream
  12. Add vanilla extract
  13. Mix until dough forms - low speed
  14. Get a clean small bowl
  15. Add dried cherries
  16. Add chocolate chips
  17. Transfer mixture to dough
  18. Mix until combined - low speed
  19. Flatten dough onto baking sheet
  20. Chill in fridge - 30 min
  21. Cut large mixing bowl into squares
  22. Arrange scones
  23. Bake until golden brown - 18 min, 190°C
  24. Transfer onto cooling rack
