Glazed donuts filled and topped with sprinkles. These funfetti donuts are baked, not fried and are so simple to make! (Adapted from Sally's Baking Addiction)

    Method

  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C / 350°F
  • 2. Add egg, milk and greek yogurt to a clean medium bowl
  • 3. Whisk together until smooth
  • 4. Add vegetable oil and vanilla extract to the wet ingredients
  • 5. Whisk gently until just combined then set aside
  • 6. Add all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, nutmeg, ground cinnamon and granulated sugar to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 7. Mix well until combined
  • 8. Transfer wet ingredients to the dry ones
  • 9. Stir gently until combined
  • 10. Mix in sprinkles to the batter gently
  • 11. Grease a clean mini doughnut pan
  • 12. Pipe batter onto mini doughnut pan
  • 13. Bake and let cool - 9 min, 175°C / 350°F middle rack
  • 14. Add milk, icing sugar and vanilla extract to a clean saucepan
  • 15. Heat until lukewarm
  • 16. Whisk until smooth
  • 17. Glaze
  • 18. Decorate with sprinkles
