  1. Add vegetable oil and popcorn kernels to a clean large saucepan
  2. Heat and cover - high heat
  3. Shake - 2 min
  4. Uncover and continue
  5. Sprinkle with salt then set aside
  6. Add granulated sugar, water and corn syrup to a clean saucepan
  7. Boil until golden brown - medium heat
  8. Replace on drop
  9. Add butter to the caramel carefully
  10. Stir thoroughly until completely melted
  11. Add baking soda to the caramel and mix
  12. Add peanuts to the caramel
  13. Transfer popcorn to caramel
  14. Season with salt
  15. Stir gently until coated
  16. Spread evenly and let cool
