Step preview

  1. Add sunflower oil, cumin seeds and ground turmeric to a clean saucepan
  2. Heat - medium heat
  3. Add onion, ginger and fresh garlic to a clean small bowl
  4. Transfer content of small bowl to saucepan
  5. Cook until soft while stirring occasionally
  6. Mix in tomato to the saucepan and cover
  7. Add ground cinnamon, chili powder, ground cumin and ground coriander to a clean small bowl
  8. Transfer spices to saucepan
  9. Stir until combined
  10. Add potato to a clean medium bowl
  11. Transfer vegetables to saucepan
  12. Cover medium bowl to simmer - 7 min
  13. Add spinach to a clean large mixing bowl
  14. Transfer vegetables to saucepan
  15. Cook - 3 min
  16. Add salt to the saucepan
  17. Transfer content of saucepan to large serving bowl
  18. Garnish with cilantro
