Traditional Neapolitan style pizza dough. Best results use Caputo blue bag flour.

  • Italian 00 flour icon
    Italian 00 flour455 g
  • Sea salt icon
    Sea salt9 g
  • Dried yeast icon
    Dried yeast7 g
  • Water icon
    Water270 g
    Method

  • 1. Add italian 00 flour, sea salt and dried yeast to a clean large glass bowl
  • 2. Mix slowly until blended
  • 3. Add water slowly and mix
  • 4. Mix until dough forms - 5 min
  • 5. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise - approx 4 hr
  • 6. Divide into balls
  • 7. Lightly flour 2 bowls
  • 8. Transfer into floured bowl and cover with plastic wrap
  • 9. Let rise - approx 2 hr
  • 10. Roll out into rounds
  • 11. Assemble with chosen sauce and toppings
  • 12. Bake - approx 6 min, 230°C / 450°F
