Step preview

  1. Pre-heat - 160°C
  2. Line 2 clean baking sheets with parchment paper
  3. Get a clean medium bowl
  4. Add all purpose flour
  5. Add baking soda
  6. Add salt
  7. Whisk until well combined then set aside
  8. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  9. Add melted, warm butter
  10. Add brown sugar
  11. Add granulated sugar
  12. Add vanilla extract
  13. Add egg
  14. Add egg yolk
  15. Transfer dry ingredients to large mixing bowl
  16. Stir slowly until combined
  17. Mix thoroughly until creamy
  18. Add semisweet chocolate
  19. Scoop content of large mixing bowl onto 2 baking sheets
  20. Mix in large mixing bowl until just combined
  21. Bake cookies until golden brown - 18 min, 160°C
  22. Sprinkle with fleur de sel lightly
