Step preview

  1. Pre-heat until hot - Sauté, Normal
  2. Add olive oil, fresh thyme, salt, black pepper, celery stalk and red onion to the inner pot
  3. Cover
  4. Sweat until cooked through while stirring occasionally
  5. Remove lid
  6. Brown - 1 min
  7. Add water to the inner pot quickly
  8. Carefully place rack in the inner pot
  9. Add whole chicken to the inner pot
  10. Arrange lemon in the inner pot
  11. Sprinkle with salt & pepper and fresh thyme
  12. Cancel - Sauté
  13. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  14. Pressure cook - Manual, High, 27 min
  15. Natural release
  16. Transfer chicken to serving plate
  17. Let rest
  18. Filter liquid from inner pot
  19. Serve
