Whenever I’m running late with dinner, it’s nice to have a healthy appetizer to snack on. This one is savory and offers protein and fiber from black beans blended with savory spices.

Step preview

  1. Add smoked paprika, ground cumin, chili powder, dried onion, dried garlic, dried green bell pepper, dried black beans, sea salt and vegetable broth to the inner pot
  2. Stir until well combined
  3. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  4. Pressure cook - Manual, High, 35 min
  5. Natural release
  6. Blend with stick blender until smooth
  7. Transfer beans to large serving bowl
  8. Serve with mozzarella cheese, green bell pepper, red onion and corn chips
