Every traditional holiday flavor comes through in this delicious herby stuffing, but be warned: it’s so good, you probably won’t have any leftovers. To make the stuffing, you will need a 7-inch springform pan or a 1-quart ovenproof baking dish that fits your Instant Pot.

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat until hot - Sauté, Normal
  2. Add butter to the inner pot
  3. Melt
  4. Add onion, celery stalk and garlic clove to the inner pot
  5. Sauté - 3 min
  6. Add italian sausage to the inner pot
  7. Crumble
  8. Brown until cooked through
  9. Cancel - Sauté
  10. Mix croutons, fresh sage, vegetable broth, egg, salt and black pepper into a clean large mixing bowl
  11. Transfer content of inner pot to large mixing bowl
  12. Mix gently until coated
  13. Let rest - 2 min
  14. Spray baking spray onto a clean springform pan
  15. Scoop content of large mixing bowl onto springform pan
  16. Cover with foil
  17. Rinse and dry the inner pot
  18. Add water to the inner pot
  19. Place a clean rack in the inner pot
  20. Place springform pan on the rack
  21. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  22. Pressure cook - Manual, High, 20 min
  23. Quick release
  24. Pre-heat broiler
  25. Remove
  26. Broil until light golden - approx 5 min
  27. Garnish with fresh parsley
  28. Let cool - 5 min
  29. Serve
