Eating a keto diet doesn’t have to mean missing out on chili. Beans aren’t even necessary to make this chili hearty and comforting. The flavor is packed into the broth, meat, and veggies that give it that classic chili taste without the carbs. This version packs a subtle punch of heat after the initial burst of flavor. Top with your favorite chili add-ins. For a crunch, try crushed pork rinds on top!

Step preview

  1. Heat - Sauté, Normal
  2. Add bacon to the inner pot
  3. Cook, remove, crumble and set aside, leaving bacon grease in the inner pot
  4. Add ground beef and ground pork to the inner pot
  5. Brown until cooked through
  6. Add onion and green bell pepper to the inner pot
  7. Cook until softened - 1 min
  8. Add chili powder, cayenne pepper, tomato paste, canned diced tomatoes, salt, beef broth and black pepper to the inner pot
  9. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  10. Pressure cook - Soup, High, 30 min
  11. Natural release - 10 min
  12. Release pressure -
  13. Stir in cooked bacon
  14. Add xanthan gum to the inner pot
  15. Heat until thickened while stirring frequently
  16. Serve warm with favorite chili toppings
