Step preview

  1. Add olive oil to the inner pot
  2. Pre-heat until hot - Sauté, Normal
  3. Add chuck roast to the inner pot
  4. Brown - approx 8 min
  5. Turn over
  6. Brown - approx 5 min
  7. Cancel - Sauté
  8. Then spread with butter
  9. Sprinkle with au jus mix and ranch dressing mix
  10. Add water and pepperoncini to the inner pot
  11. Cook - Meat, High, 45 min
  12. Natural release - 20 min
  13. Quick release
  14. Cancel - Keep warm
  15. Transfer beef to serving plate
  16. Using a fork, shred the beef into large pieces then set aside
  17. Heat - Sauté, Normal
  18. Mix water and cornstarch into a clean small bowl
  19. Transfer slurry to inner pot
  20. Whisk until thickened
  21. Pour sauce over beef
  22. Garnish with fresh parsley
  23. Serve
