Step preview

  1. Heat - Sauté, Normal
  2. Add bacon to the inner pot
  3. Cook until crispy
  4. Cancel - Sauté
  5. Drain bacon fat, place cooked bacon in between two paper towels and set aside
  6. Pour chicken broth into the inner pot
  7. Deglaze with a wooden spoon
  8. Add yukon gold potato, salt and black pepper to the inner pot
  9. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  10. Pressure cook - Soup, High, 10 min
  11. Quick release
  12. Cancel - Keep warm
  13. Blend with stick blender until slightly chunky
  14. Heat - Sauté, Normal
  15. Then add cream cheese and half and half to the inner pot
  16. Whisk in
  17. Cook while stirring occasionally - 10 min
  18. Mix in half of the cooked bacon
  19. Serve topped with remaining bacon
  20. Garnish with sharp cheddar and green onion
