Step preview

  1. Add ghee to the inner pot
  2. Pre-heat until hot - Sauté, Normal
  3. Add cinnamon stick and cardamom pods to the inner pot
  4. Cook until sizzling - approx 10 sec
  5. Add yellow onion, fresh garlic and ginger to the inner pot
  6. Cook while stirring frequently - approx 1 min 30 sec
  7. Add ground lamb to the inner pot
  8. Cook - approx 3 min
  9. Add garam masala, salt, ground turmeric, cayenne pepper, ground coriander, ground cumin and water to the inner pot
  10. Cancel - Sauté
  11. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  12. Pressure cook - Manual, High, 10 min
  13. Natural release - 10 min
  14. Quick release
  15. Stir frozen peas into the inner pot
  16. Cover until heated through - approx 5 min
