    1.5 cups (360g)
  • Sugar icon
    about ¾ cup (153g)
  • Salt icon
    about ½ tsp (3g)
  • 1% milk icon
    1% milk
    5 cups (1200ml)

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat - Sauté, Normal
  2. Add arborio rice, sugar, salt and 1% milk to the inner pot
  3. Heat until sugar has dissolved and bring to a boil
  4. Cancel - Sauté
  5. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  6. Pressure cook - Manual, Low, 16 min
  7. Add egg, half and half and vanilla extract to a clean medium bowl
  8. Whisk until combined
  9. Natural release - 10 min
  10. Quick release
  11. Stir the rice in pot
  12. Stir egg mixture into rice
  13. Cancel - Keep warm
  14. Heat - Sauté, Normal
  15. Heat until just boiling
  16. Stir raisins into the rice
  17. Serve immediately, or pour into servings dishes until cool then chill
