Step preview

  1. Add vegetable oil to the inner pot
  2. Pre-heat until hot - Sauté, Normal
  3. Add beef stew meat to the inner pot
  4. Brown while stirring occasionally
  5. Season with salt
  6. Add diced tomatoes with green chiles, onion and jalapeño pepper to the inner pot
  7. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  8. Pressure cook - Meat, High, 22 min
