Step preview

  1. Mix all purpose flour, salt, black pepper and garlic powder into a clean medium bowl
  2. Coat chicken in dredge
  3. Add olive oil and butter to the inner pot
  4. Pre-heat - Sauté, More
  5. Then add chicken breast to the inner pot
  6. Brown until light golden - approx 6 min
  7. Set content of inner pot in baking dish
  8. Cover loosely with foil
  9. Add olive oil, butter, shallot and garlic clove to the inner pot
  10. Sauté until soft - approx 2 min
  11. Add mushrooms to the inner pot
  12. Cook - approx 4 min
  13. Add marsala and chicken broth to the inner pot
  14. Deglaze
  15. Return chicken to inner pot carefully
  16. Cancel - Sauté
  17. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  18. Pressure cook - Manual, High, 5 min
  19. Natural release - 5 min
  20. Quick release
  21. Remove chicken to baking dish carefully and cover loosely with foil
  22. Add cornstarch to a clean small bowl
  23. Transfer one quarter of content of inner pot to small bowl
  24. Mix
  25. Return content of small bowl to inner pot
  26. Stir single cream into the inner pot
  27. Cook until thickened while stirring occasionally - approx 5 min
  28. Return chicken to inner pot
  29. Cook - approx 2 min
  30. Garnish with black pepper and fresh parsley
  31. Serve
