Instant Pot Buttery Herbed Mushrooms

This dish makes a fantastic accompaniment to a nice juicy steak on any given night, but also think about doubling the recipe and serving it at your next holiday meal. Since it doesn’t require the already crowded stove or oven to prepare, it’s perfect for gatherings. It looks nice on the holiday table, too! If possible, choose mushrooms that are about the same size. If you can only find bigger mushrooms, cut them in half, or even quarters if they are quite large.

Step preview

  1. Add unsalted butter to the inner pot
  2. Pre-heat until hot - Sauté, Normal
  3. Add garlic clove and crimini mushrooms to the inner pot
  4. Cook while stirring occasionally - 5 min
  5. Stir fresh thyme, fresh parsley and fresh oregano into the inner pot
  6. Whisk bone broth, kosher salt, black pepper and marjoram into a clean small bowl
  7. Pour broth into mushrooms
  8. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  9. Pressure cook - Manual, High, 5 min
  10. Release pressure -
  11. Transfer the mushrooms to large serving bowl
  12. Pre-heat - Sauté, Normal
  13. Season to taste
  14. Boil until thickened while stirring frequently - approx 4 min
  15. Pour sauce over mushrooms
  16. Garnish with fresh parsley
  17. Serve
