Step preview

  1. Add chuck roast, black pepper, gluten-free flour and pink himalayan salt to a clean medium bowl
  2. Toss gently until coated then set aside
  3. Pre-heat until hot - Sauté, Normal
  4. Add avocado oil to the inner pot
  5. Transfer content of medium bowl to inner pot bit by bit
  6. Brown
  7. Transfer content of inner pot to plate then set aside
  8. Add avocado oil and onion to the inner pot
  9. Sauté until translucent
  10. Add garlic clove to the inner pot
  11. Add tomato paste, red wine, beef broth, bay leaves, fresh thyme and fresh parsley to the inner pot
  12. Simmer - approx 5 min
  13. Add meat to inner pot
  14. Stir well
  15. Cancel - Sauté
  16. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  17. Pressure cook - Meat, High, 20 min
  18. Quick release
  19. Add potato, celery stalk, carrot and button mushroom to the inner pot
  20. Mix well
  21. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  22. Pressure cook - Manual, High, 10 min
  23. Natural release
  24. Set the meat and vegetables aside in a large bowl
  25. Add water to a clean medium bowl
  26. Transfer one content of inner pot to medium bowl
  27. Add gluten-free flour to the medium bowl
  28. Whisk vigorously
  29. Cancel - Keep warm
  30. Heat - Sauté, Normal
  31. Transfer slurry to inner pot
  32. Stir well
  33. Cook until thickened
  34. Return meat and vegetables into the inner pot
  35. Serve immediately
  36. Garnish with fresh parsley
