Step preview

  1. Place artichoke on a clean work surface
  2. Trim
  3. Peel
  4. Chop off the top 1/4 of each artichoke
  5. Trim until smooth
  6. Rinse with water
  7. Shake off excess water
  8. Rub lemon onto the vegetables
  9. Add water to the inner pot
  10. Place a clean rack in the inner pot
  11. Place artichokes on the rack
  12. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  13. Pressure cook - Manual, High, 10 min
  14. Natural release - 10 min
  15. Release pressure -
  16. Add unsalted butter to a clean saucepan
  17. Melt gently - medium heat
  18. Stir garlic clove into the saucepan
  19. Simmer - 1 min
  20. Remove from heat
  21. Transfer garlic butter to ramekin
  22. Transfer artichokes to plate
  23. Garnish with lemon
  24. Serve artichokes with melted garlic butter for dipping
