Step preview

  1. Add olive oil to the inner pot
  2. Pre-heat until hot - Sauté, Normal
  3. Then add onion to the inner pot
  4. Cook until softened - approx 3 min
  5. Add chili powder, salt, chipotle chili powder, garlic clove and ground cumin to the inner pot
  6. Cook while stirring occasionally - approx 1 min
  7. Stir vegetable broth into the inner pot
  8. Deglaze with a wooden spoon
  9. Add canned black beans, crushed tomatoes and canned diced tomatoes to the inner pot
  10. Stir well until combined
  11. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  12. Pressure cook - Manual, High, 4 min
  13. Release pressure -
  14. Heat - Sauté, Normal
  15. Cook until thickened while stirring occasionally - 5 min
  16. Serve
  17. Garnish with green onion, tortilla chips, cheddar cheese and sour cream
