When you start a ketogenic diet, you will probably retrain what your brain thinks of in terms of food satisfaction. Empty calories like buns and tortillas aren’t as appealing and certainly don’t make the meal like they used to. Instead, you will have a greater appreciation for flavorful fillings like this bowl. It’s full of fat to keep you full, even without a tortilla.

Step preview

  1. Mix egg, butter, salt and black pepper into a clean large mixing bowl
  2. Pre-heat - Sauté, Less
  3. Transfer egg mixture to inner pot
  4. Cook gently until almost cooked while stirring occasionally - approx 6 min
  5. Add breakfast sausage and sharp cheddar to the inner pot
  6. Cook until cooked through
  7. Divide eggs between 4 medium bowls
  8. Top with tomato salsa, sour cream, avocado and green onion
