Step preview

  1. Place pork spare ribs on a clean cutting board
  2. Cut between the bones into small pieces
  3. Soak - approx 2 min
  4. Drain
  5. Rinse
  6. Drain
  7. Add olive oil to the inner pot
  8. Pre-heat until hot - Sauté, More
  9. Then add green onion, ginger, star anise pod and cloves to the inner pot
  10. Sauté while stirring occasionally - 1 min
  11. Add anka sauce to the inner pot
  12. Add ribs to inner pot
  13. Cook while stirring occasionally - 2 min
  14. Add cooking wine to the inner pot
  15. Stir briefly
  16. Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, salt, water and honey to the inner pot
  17. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  18. Pressure cook - Manual, High, 35 min
  19. Natural release - 5 min
  20. Release pressure -
  21. Heat - Sauté, More
  22. Cook until reduced by 3/4 while stirring occasionally
  23. Serve
