Step preview

  1. Add extra virgin olive oil to the inner pot
  2. Pre-heat until hot - Sauté, Normal
  3. Add yellow onion, garlic clove, carrot and celery stalk to the inner pot
  4. Sauté until softened - 3 min
  5. Cancel - Sauté
  6. Then add low sodium vegetable broth to the inner pot
  7. Deglaze with a wooden spoon
  8. Add dried oregano, dried thyme, sea salt, black pepper, bay leaves and dried whole-wheat macaroni pasta to the inner pot and mix
  9. Add canned red kidney beans, canned diced tomatoes and tomato paste to the inner pot without stirring
  10. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  11. Pressure cook - Manual, High, 5 min
  12. Natural release - 10 min
  13. Quick release
  14. Serve
