  1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
  2. Grease and flour a clean round pan
  3. Add butter and white sugar to a clean stand mixer bowl
  4. Cream until fluffy
  5. Add egg to the batter
  6. Beat

  9. Add sour cream and vanilla extract to the batter
  10. Fold until combined
  11. Add all purpose flour and baking powder to a clean small bowl
  12. Mix
  13. Transfer dry ingredients to batter
  14. Fold until just combined
  15. Add pecan pieces, white sugar and ground cinnamon to a clean small bowl
  16. Stir
  17. Transfer one third of batter to round pan
  18. Transfer three quarters of nuts to round pan
  19. Transfer the rest of batter to round pan
  20. Transfer the rest of nuts to round pan
  21. Bake and let cool - 55 min, 175°C
  22. Serve
