  • Halloumi icon
    Halloumi120 gsliced
  • Dill icon
    Dill2 teaspoonschopped
  • Lettuce icon
    Lettuce½ headchopped
  • Cherry tomatoes icon

  • Pitted kalamata olives icon
    Pitted kalamata olives120 gchopped
  • Pita bread icon

  • Olive oil icon
    Olive oil2 teaspoons
  • Tzatziki sauce icon

    Method

  • 1. Heat frying pan over medium heat and lightly coat with 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2. Place one pita bread into the frying pan and lightly fry on both sides until just golden
  • 3. Remove pita from the pan and cover with foil to keep warm
  • 4. Drizzle the other tsp of olive oil into the same frying pan and lightly fry the halloumi on both sides until golden
  • 5. Assemble your souvlaki by spreading your pita with tzatziki, sprinkling over the dill, then topping with lettuce, tomatoes, olives and halloumi
  • 6. Wrap up and enjoy
