  1. Add caster sugar, butter and medjool dates to a clean saucepan
  2. Heat gently until melted and let cool - low heat
  3. Add egg to the saucepan
  4. Boil - 2 min, high heat
  5. Add biscuits and almond extract to the saucepan
  6. Mix
  7. Line a clean rectangular tart pan with parchment paper
  8. Transfer content of saucepan to rectangular tart pan
  9. Press until smooth
  10. Set in fridge - approx 24 hr
  11. Cut
