Ingredients

    340g (about 2½ cups)

    about ½ teaspoon (3g)
  • Baking soda icon

    about ½ teaspoon (2g)

    150g (about 1 cup)

    290ml (1¼ cups)

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  2. Add self raising flour, salt, baking soda and sultanas to a clean medium bowl
  3. Mix until combined
  4. Pour buttermilk into the dough and mix
  5. Turn out on lightly-floured surface
  6. Prepare a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  7. Transfer dough to baking sheet
  8. Bake until lightly browned - 30 min, 200°C, middle rack
