A gentle and freshly scented soap for your face and body. Once prepared, the soap mixture needs to harden for a month before slicing into bars.

Step preview

  1. Get a clean medium glass bowl
  2. Add lye flakes then set aside
  3. Get a clean medium glass bowl
  4. Add water
  5. Add puréed carrot
  6. Add salt
  7. Transfer liquid to vegetables
  8. Stir until dissolved and let cool
  9. Get a clean large saucepan
  10. Add olive oil
  11. Add coconut oil
  12. Add castor oil
  13. Melt
  14. Transfer oil mixture to large glass bowl
  15. Transfer vegetables to large saucepan
  16. Mix with stick blender until trace is reached
  17. Fold calendula flowers into a mixture
  18. Transfer mixture to loaf pan
  19. Bang onto work surface
  20. Cover with kitchen towel - approx 12 hr
  21. Let rest until hard
  22. Slice into squares
