Step preview

  1. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  2. Add all purpose flour
  3. Add powdered sugar
  4. Add salt
  5. Add unsalted butter
  6. Rub in until coarse crumbs form
  7. Add egg
  8. Mix until mixture comes together
  9. Wrap with plastic wrap
  10. Chill in fridge - 1 hr
  11. Pre-heat - 180°C
  12. Transfer pastry to lightly floured surface
  13. Roll out
  14. Cut out
  15. Grease a clean mini muffin pan
  16. Transfer pastry to mini muffin pan
  17. Add mince pie filling
  18. Decorate
  19. Get a clean small bowl
  20. Add egg
  21. Mix briefly
  22. Brush
  23. Bake - 20 min, 180°C
  24. Let cool onto cooling rack
  25. Dust with icing sugar
