Method
1. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
2. Add all purpose flour, salt, cayenne pepper and baking powder to a clean large mixing bowl
3. Mix briefly until blended
4. Add unsalted butter to the dough
5. Rub in until coarse crumbs form
6. Add cheddar cheese to the dough
7. Mix briefly until just combined
8. Add milk to the dough gradually while mixing
9. Mix until dough forms
10. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
11. Roll out
12. Cut out
13. Transfer scones to baking sheet
14. Glaze milk with the baking sheet
15. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese
16. Bake - 10 min, 200°C
