These vegan buns/rolls are so soft and amazing and stay fresh for easily a week. They are a little bit sweet so work very well as dinner rolls.

Step preview

  1. Fit the TM5 bowl to TM5
  2. Add bread flour
  3. Add raw cane sugar
  4. Add coconut milk
  5. Cook and let cool - approx 3 min, 80°C, speed 3
  6. Add bread flour
  7. Add ground turmeric
  8. Add ground ginger
  9. Add ground cinnamon
  10. Add ground cardamom
  11. Add black pepper
  12. Add sea salt
  13. Add extra virgin olive oil
  14. Add coconut milk
  15. Add dried yeast
  16. Blend - approx 10 sec, speed 6
  17. Knead - approx 4 min, dough
  18. Flour a clean work surface
  19. Transfer dough to work surface
  20. Shape into balls
  21. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  22. Transfer dough to baking sheet and cover
  23. Brush
  24. Sprinkle with sesame seeds
  25. Prove until doubled - approx 2 hr
  26. Bake - 15 min, 180°C
  27. Serve
