  • Bay leaves icon

  • Black pepper icon

    1 pinch (about 0.13 g)

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Grease a clean baking dish
  3. Add butter, single cream, extra virgin olive oil, fresh thyme and bay leaves to a clean saucepan
  4. Cook - approx 2 min
  5. Add potato to the baking dish
  6. Strain saucepan with sieve and continue
  7. Transfer content of saucepan to baking dish
  8. Add black pepper and sea salt to the baking dish
  9. Cover with foil
  10. Bake - 30 min, 180°C
  11. Remove
  12. Bake - approx 1 hr, 180°C
  13. Serve
