Method
1. Add water to a clean large saucepan
2. Boil
3. Add potato to the potatoes
4. Cook - 3 min
5. Drain
6. Add butter and sunflower oil to a clean medium cast iron skillet
7. Heat
8. Add onion and bacon to the medium cast iron skillet
9. Fry until light golden - 5 min
10. Stir in apple and all purpose flour to the medium cast iron skillet
11. Season with salt & pepper well
12. Get a clean slow cooker bowl
13. Arrange potatoes in slow cooker bowl
14. Add chicken stock and English mustard to a clean medium cast iron skillet
15. Boil
16. Retrieve slow cooker bowl
17. Pour content of medium cast iron skillet into slow cooker bowl
18. Add bay leaves to the slow cooker bowl and cover
19. Cook in slow cooker - 10 hr, low heat
20. Add salt & pepper and cheddar cheese to the slow cooker bowl
21. Broil in broiler until browned
22. Serve
