Honey, apricots and pears lend their sweetness to this fresh, citrusy chicken dish. The sweetness is balanced beautifully with the addition of sour cream stirred in just at the end.

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
  2. Heat olive oil to a clean Dutch oven
  3. Add chicken breast to the Dutch oven
  4. Season with salt & pepper
  5. Fry evenly until light golden - 3 min
  6. Add apricot, pear, new potatoes, onion, fresh thyme, orange, wholegrain mustard and honey to the Dutch oven
  7. Mix well
  8. Cover with foil
  9. Cook - approx 40 min, 175°C
  10. Stir in sour cream to the Dutch oven
  11. Serve
