  1. Add orange and water to a clean slow cooker bowl
  2. Cover
  3. Cook in slow cooker until tender - 9 hr, low heat
  4. Let cool overnight
  5. Drain
  6. Slice
  7. Transfer soaked fruit to large saucepan
  8. Add granulated sugar to the large saucepan
  9. Heat gently until sugar has dissolved - medium-low heat
  10. Boil - 25 min, 220°C
  11. Warm 6 clean jars - approx 5 min, low heat
  12. Transfer content of large saucepan to 6 jars
  13. Label and cover
  14. Store in fridge until needed
