  1. Get a clean slow cooker bowl
  2. Add peeled, cored, chopped cooking apple
  3. Add granulated sugar
  4. Add grated lemon
  5. Add lemon juice
  6. Add blackberries and cover
  7. Cook in slow cooker while stirring occasionally - 4 hr 30 min, high heat
  8. Warm 4 clean jars - low heat
  9. Spoon jam into 4 jars
  10. Let cool
  11. Store in fridge
