  1. Prep and set aside onion: quartered
  2. Prep and set aside ginger: peeled & sliced
  3. Prep and set aside cinnamon stick: halved
  4. Prep and set aside water: boiling
  5. Prep and set aside pork ribs: rinsed
  6. Get a clean medium bowl
  7. Add prepared onion
  8. Add prepared ginger
  9. Add white wine vinegar
  10. Add star anise pod
  11. Add prepared cinnamon stick
  12. Cover with plastic wrap
  13. Chill overnight
  14. Get a clean slow cooker bowl
  15. Add tea
  16. Add prepared water
  17. Brew - 3 min
  18. Remove
  19. Add prepared pork ribs
  20. Transfer marinade to slow cooker bowl and cover
  21. Cook in slow cooker - 30 min, high heat
  22. Cook in slow cooker - 8 hr, low heat
  23. Line a clean baking sheet with foil
  24. Pre-heat - medium-high heat
  25. Get a clean small bowl
  26. Add soy sauce
  27. Add honey
  28. Mix with tablespoon until well combined
  29. Transfer pork to baking sheet
  30. Transfer glaze to meat evenly
  31. Broil until browned - 15 min, medium-high heat
  32. Serve
