Spicy Fish and Potato Soup

Tender chunks of fish and potato in a spiced, flavorful broth. This soup will warm you from the inside out. Feel free to bump up the heat with extra chili flakes if you like your food extra spicy.

  • Red pepper flakes icon

  • New potatoes icon
    New potatoes455 ghalved

  • Mint leaves icon

    Method

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a clean large saucepan
  • 2. Add garlic clove and cook for 30 sec
  • 3. Stir in fish stock, ground cumin and red pepper flakes
  • 4. Season with salt & pepper
  • 5. Add new potatoes and bring to boil
  • 6. Reduce to low and simmer - 12 min
  • 7. Add tomato and fish fillet to the soup
  • 8. Cook until cooked through - 5 min
  • 9. Add lemon juice and season more if necessary
  • 10. Ladle soup into medium bowl
  • 11. Garnish with mint leaves and cilantro
  • 12. Serve
