  2. Prep and set aside leek: sliced
  3. Get a clean medium cast iron skillet
  4. Add butter
  5. Add sunflower oil
  6. Heat
  7. Add chicken thighs
  8. Fry until browned - high heat
  9. Get a clean slow cooker bowl
  10. Transfer content of medium cast iron skillet to slow cooker bowl
  11. Get medium cast iron skillet
  12. Add prepared bacon
  13. Add prepared leek
  14. Fry until light golden - 5 min
  15. Stir in all purpose flour
  16. Mix in chicken stock gradually
  17. Mix in wholegrain mustard gradually
  18. Mix in salt & pepper gradually
  19. Boil
  20. Retrieve slow cooker bowl
  21. Pour content of medium cast iron skillet into slow cooker bowl and cover
  22. Cook in slow cooker - 10 hr, low heat
  23. Add
  24. Cook in slow cooker until softened - 15 min, low heat
  25. Serve
