Chorizo adds Spanish smokiness to this chunky bean stew. Olives are optional, but highly recommended! Serve with hot peppered foccacia or garlic bread and a green leafy salad.

Step preview

  1. Place chorizo, red onion and canned navy beans on a clean slow cooker bowl
  2. Add cherry tomatoes, garlic clove and rosemary to the slow cooker bowl
  3. Mix together
  4. Arrange frankfurter sausage in the slow cooker bowl on top
  5. Add vegetable stock, tomato paste and salt & pepper to a clean medium bowl
  6. Mix with tablespoon
  7. Retrieve slow cooker bowl
  8. Pour stock mixture into slow cooker bowl and cover
  9. Cook in slow cooker - 5 hr, high heat
  10. Stir
  11. Serve
