Salmon couldn’t be easier to cook. Here it is paired with nutty quinoa and a herby, zesty sage butter to create a light, fresh meal that’s ready in minutes.

    Method

  • 1. Add quinoa and water to a clean saucepan
  • 2. Cook - 15 min
  • 3. Add butter, fresh sage, lemon and fresh chives to a clean medium bowl and mix
  • 4. Pre-heat a clean large cast iron skillet
  • 5. Add salt & pepper to taste, salmon filet and olive oil to another medium bowl and rub
  • 6. Transfer fish to large cast iron skillet
  • 7. Cook carefully - 6 min, high heat
  • 8. Remove then set aside
  • 9. Add lemon to the quinoa
  • 10. Season with salt & pepper to taste
  • 11. Transfer fish to 4 serving plates
  • 12. Transfer quinoa to 4 serving plates evenly
  • 13. Top each piece with a knob of sage butter
