A homemade approximation of cheeze-its or goldfish. You can remove a little cheddar and add some parmesan for variety. Make sure to roll them thin, but not too thin, and cut them small for maximum crunchiness...

  • Unsalted butter icon

  • Cheddar cheese icon

  • All purpose flour icon

    Method

  • 1. Add all purpose flour, salt and black pepper to a clean food processor bowl
  • 2. Pulse briefly
  • 3. Add unsalted butter to the dough
  • 4. Pulse until coarse crumbs form
  • 5. Add cheddar cheese to the dough gradually
  • 6. Pulse until coarse crumbs form
  • 7. Add water to the dough bit by bit while mixing
  • 8. Transfer dough to large resealable plastic bag
  • 9. Refrigerate overnight
  • 10. Transfer dough to baking sheet
  • 11. Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick and cut
  • 12. Bake until golden brown - 15 min
