A homemade approximation of cheeze-its or goldfish. You can remove a little cheddar and add some parmesan for variety. Make sure to roll them thin, but not too thin, and cut them small for maximum crunchiness.

Step preview

  1. Add all purpose flour, salt and black pepper to a clean food processor bowl
  2. Pulse briefly
  3. Add unsalted butter to the dough
  4. Pulse until coarse crumbs form
  5. Add cheddar cheese to the dough gradually
  6. Pulse until coarse crumbs form
  7. Add water to the dough bit by bit while mixing
  8. Transfer dough to large resealable plastic bag
  9. Refrigerate overnight
  10. Transfer dough to baking sheet
  11. Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  12. Cut
  13. Bake until golden brown - 15 min, 175°C
