Method
1. Pre-heat the oven - 180°C / 355°F
2. Add whole wheat flour, white flour, salt, baking soda, bran and pin head oats to a clean large mixing bowl
3. Mix briefly until blended
4. Add unsalted butter to the large mixing bowl
5. Rub in until coarse crumbs form
6. Add egg to a clean medium bowl
7. Whisk briefly until blended
8. Add milk and whisk until blended
9. Transfer wet ingredients to large mixing bowl
10. Mix slowly until well blended
11. Line 2 clean loaf pans with parchment paper
12. Divide mixture evenly between both loaf pans and flatten the top with a spatula
13. Sprinkle with mixed seeds
14. Bake until golden brown and let cool - 40 min, 180°C / 355°F
