Chocolate peanut butter cookies with dark chocolate chunks - not-too-sweet, crisp on the outside and chewy inside, and topped with extra chocolate and a sprinkle of sea salt. This recipe makes a lot of cookies - which is a good thing, because they'll disappear before you know it.

Step preview

  1. Add unsalted butter, peanut butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar to a clean large mixing bowl
  2. Mix well
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract to the dough and mix
  4. Add sea salt, cocoa powder and all purpose flour to the dough
  5. Add baking soda to a clean baking sheet
  6. Mix dough well
  7. Add dark chocolate to the dough and mix
  8. Chill in fridge - 1 hr
  9. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  10. Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper
  11. Scoop dough onto baking sheet
  12. Bake and let cool - 10 min, 190°C
  13. Add dark chocolate to a clean small bowl
  14. Melt in microwave
  15. Pipe chocolate mixture onto baking sheet
  16. Sprinkle with sea salt
  17. Leave until set
