  1. Prep and set aside parmesan cheese: grated
  2. Get a clean large saucepan
  3. Add water
  4. Add salt
  5. Boil
  6. Add fettuccine
  7. Cook on medium heat until al dente and continue
  8. Get a clean saucepan
  9. Melt unsalted butter
  10. Add double cream
  11. Boil
  12. Simmer for approx 1min until thickened
  13. Drain pasta
  14. Transfer pasta to saucepan
  15. Toss
  16. Simmer on low heat
  17. Add nutmeg
  18. Add prepared parmesan cheese
  19. Add milk
  20. Season with salt & pepper
  21. Toss on low heat until coated
  22. Serve immediately
