Step preview

  1. Add turkey, tinned green lentils, salt & pepper and egg yolk to a clean large mixing bowl
  2. Mix
  3. Form into balls
  4. Add olive oil to a clean frying pan
  5. Heat
  6. Transfer meat to frying pan
  7. Brown each side
  8. Transfer content of frying pan to slow cooker bowl
  9. Retrieve frying pan
  10. Add onion and garlic clove to the frying pan
  11. Fry until softened
  12. Add ground turmeric, ground cumin, ground cinnamon, ground coriander and ginger to the frying pan
  13. Stir
  14. Cook in frying pan - 1 min
  15. Add canned chopped tomatoes and chicken stock to the frying pan
  16. Season with salt & pepper
  17. Stir
  18. Heat until just boiling - medium heat
  19. Pour content of frying pan into slow cooker bowl
  20. Cook until cooked through - approx 7 hr, low heat
  21. Stir
  22. Serve
